On Sunday, 18 December 2016 our parish family gathered once again for our annual Christmas Luncheon & Program, celebrating the birth of Christ in anticipation of the upcoming Feast.
Immediately following the Divine Liturgy, the children of our Sunday School presented a traditional Nativity program in the church, assisted by the parish choir.
After that, everyone was invited into the hall where they enjoyed a delicious Lenten luncheon hosted by our youth group (assisted by a group of parents, grandparents and friends). Then, members of our “Grai Românesc” ensemble presented a short program of traditional Romanian carols (colinde) followed by children singing and playing Christmas songs.
As in previous years, we also welcomed our very special guests of the day… Santa & Mrs. Claus! They distributed gifts to the children and stayed around a little while to take pictures too.
Christ is Born! Merry Christmas to all!
