WELCOME to the website of Saints Peter & Paul Romanian Orthodox Church of Dearborn Heights, Michigan.  We hope that this information will give you a good impression of our parish family, and we invite all to visit us and join us if you are looking for a spiritual home.  Our doors are open to all - both American and Romanian born faithful - who wish to live and learn the Holy Orthodox Faith: the Faith passed down from Jesus Christ to His Apostles, and from those Apostles down through the Church over the centuries to us today.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

• Everyone is invited to join us for a Benefit Dinner on Sunday, July 27 following the Divine Liturgy.  All proceeds from this event will assist the family of Andrew Patyna, who requires 24-hour care and assistance for special-needs.  Please come and show your support for members of our parish family!  (If you cannot attend the dinner and would like to make a donation, please send a check payable to "Sts. Peter & Paul Church" to the parish office with a note indicating that it is for the "Andrew Patyna Benefit.")
   

• Our Ladies Auxiliary will host their 3rd Annual Scrapbooking Crop on Saturday, October 11.  Everyone is invited to join us for this 13-hour event!  Food and gifts are included in the registration fee, and scrapbook supply vendors will also be present.  Please be sure to invite your family and friends to register soon.  CLICK HERE for more information.

• Forms for the 2014 Traian & Anna Moga Educational Scholarship for Sts. Peter & Paul Romanian Orthodox Church are now available from the parish office.  Students of the parish are encouraged to apply.  The deadline for submission is September 1.  With the scholarship entering its third year, we continue to be grateful to the Moga Family for their encouragement and support of our young people.
   

• Sunday School for all children of the parish, Preschool through 11th grade, are on Summer break and will resume in September.  Registration forms can be obtained from the parish office.  Classes are free of charge and are held on Sunday mornings (9:45-10:45am), mid-September through mid-May.  Children of non-members (and even non-Orthodox Christians) are also welcome.  Parents, please bring your children regularly and on time!
   

• Our parish and hall are on Facebook.  We encourage you to "Like" our pages to receive notices of events and website updates, as well as to help promote our beautiful parish hall among your friends.  Find us by searching for "Sts. • Have you paid your Parish Membership Dues yet?  If not, please consider fulfilling this obligation as soon as possible.  New members are also invited to worship with us and join us in parish membership.
