WELCOME to the website of Saints Peter & Paul Romanian Orthodox Church of Dearborn Heights, Michigan.  We hope that this information will give you a good impression of our parish family, and we invite all to visit us and join us if you are looking for a spiritual home.  Our doors are open to all - both American and Romanian born faithful - who wish to live and learn the Holy Orthodox Faith: the Faith passed down from Jesus Christ to His Apostles, and from those Apostles down through the Church over the centuries to us today.

  • Our Ladies Auxiliary will host their annual Vendor Show on Saturday, April 5.  We will host over 40 representatives from various retail companies in our hall for your shopping enjoyment.  Homemade food and bake sale will also be available.  Everyone is invited to join us for the event!  Please be sure to invite your family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers.  CLICK HERE for more information.

  • The final Liturgy of Presanctified Gifts during this season of Great Lent will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 9 beginning at 7:00pm.  Priests will be available for the Sacrament of Confession prior to the service beginning at 6:00-6:45pm.  A Lenten supper will immediately follow the service.  Everyone is invited and encouraged to participate.

  • Great Vespers continue to be served in our church on Saturdays throughout Great Lent (March 8 - April 12) at 4:30pm.  Priests will be available for the Sacrament of Confession during and/or after these services.  All Orthodox Christians are encouraged to make an extra spiritual effort as we prepare for the Feast of the Resurrection of the Lord.  Anyone who would like Confession but absolutely cannot make it to any of the planned times offered can call the parish office to make an appointment.

  • Romanian Dancing Lessons continue for children and teenagers on Saturdays (March 29, April 12 & 26) at 1:00pm.  Parents, we encourage you to bring your children to learn this fun aspect of our Romanian culture.  The group will work toward a performance in the near future.

  • Visit our FROM THE PARISH PRIEST section to see the newest article posted, Christian Life in Today's Society.  As always, feel free to share the links to the articles with your family and friends!

  • The 2013 Traian & Anna Moga Educational Scholarship for Sts. Peter & Paul Romanian Orthodox Church was awarded to two outstanding and deserving recent graduates from our parish: Miss Iulia Balaie and Miss Miriam Lewis.  We congratulate both of them, as well as their parents, and we are grateful to the Moga Family for their encouragement and support of our young people.

  • Sunday School continues for all children of the parish, Preschool through 11th grade.  Registration forms can be obtained from the parish office.  Classes are free of charge and are held on Sunday mornings (9:45-10:45am), mid-September through mid-May.  Children of non-members (and even non-Orthodox Christians) are also welcome.  Parents, please bring your children regularly and on time!

  • Our parish and hall are on Facebook.  We encourage you to "Like" our pages to receive notices of events and website updates, as well as to help promote our beautiful parish hall among your friends.  Find us by searching for "Sts.
