On Sunday, 19 December 2022, our parish family gathered once again for our annual Christmas Luncheon & Program, celebrating the birth of Christ in anticipation of the upcoming Feast. Immediately following the Hierarchal Divine Liturgy, the children of our Sunday School presented a traditional Nativity program in the church.
Everyone was then invited into the hall where they enjoyed a delicious Lenten luncheon hosted by our Youth Group (assisted by a group of parents and supporters) and to be entertained by our children who offered a program of traditional Romanian and American Christmas songs, followed by some dances too. As in previous years, we also welcomed our very special guests of the day… Santa & Mrs. Claus! They distributed gifts to the children and stayed around a little while to take pictures too.
In the days leading up to the Christmas holiday, children were also invited to participate in a “Secret Santa” gift exchange.
