On Monday, January 6 we celebrated the Great Feast of Theophany, commemorating the Baptism of our Lord in the Jordan River by St. John the Baptist at which the Holy Trinity was revealed to the world.
In accordance with the Feast, the Great Blessing of Water took place at the Divine Liturgy. This water is the water that will be used to bless the homes of the faithful.
