From the Parish Priest – Fr. Romey Rosco
We all want to grow and prosper. Our church is filled every Sunday with worshipping Orthodox Christians as a testimony to the living faith of our people.
We should be thankful for those who remained with the church over the decades, who sacrificed their time and energy to build our beautiful house of worship and to maintain it. And when each of us makes a continuing effort to pray, learn and support the church, we are rightly saying “Thank You” to God and to those who have passed the Church and Faith on to us.
Pray for those who have drifted away from the Church, or who have chosen something less than the Apostolic Faith. Pray for those who prefer to please themselves rather than the Lord. Pray for those who do not wish to be associated with an “ethnic” church, not even their own. And continue to live with Christ in your lives, inviting others to God’s house to witness the Faith of Christ and His Apostles. Be right-believing and right-practicing Christians.
In this way, Sts. Peter & Paul Church will continue to grow and prosper as God intends it to.
