About Thanksgiving

From the Parish PriestFr. Romey Rosco

This Thursday, November 26 is Thanksgiving Day!  It seems to be a natural tendancy, as we get older, to spend more time longing for what we may have once had (here or in Romania) rather than being thankful for what we have now.  Our earthly life is filled with changes and challenges, but the greatest challenge is to hold on to what does not change: God’s plan and love for us! Never ignore or discard God’s place in your life.  Thank Him for His presence and accept His unwavering perspective of the world and of life itself.  In all the earthly turmoil we witness or experience, God holds us firm and sees us through when we hold Him to be most important to us.  On Thanksgiving Day and throughout our lives, He alone deserves our deepest gratitude just being the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE!  Rejoice in the Lord with Happy Thanksgiving!
